TERRORIST BOMBING IN NORTHERN IRELAND AND KILLING OF CIVILIANS We wish to convey our deepest sympathies on the killing of civilians in Northern Ireland on account of terrorist bombings. We hope that the British Government will take all necessary steps to protect democratic way of life and punish the despicable offenders. The horror of terrorism is deeply felt by all when the terrorists kill and injure innocent civilians without any rhyme or reason. One of the most important tasks of a responsible government is to be vigilant and take effective measures to weaken and eradicate anti-social forces. Sri Lankan government and her people had been urging you to impose restrictions on Tamil Tigers who are considered as one of the most violent terrorist groups in the world. Yet, to the dismay of the democratically elected Sri Lankan government and her people Tamil Tigers operate in the very centre of London. From this well known, well established centre all anti-Sri Lanka activities are planned in addition to fund raising to purchase bombs and ammunitions to kill Sri Lankans and create havoc and unrest in Sri Lanka. At this moment when all eyes are on the tragedy of Omagh we earnestly hope that the British Government will take effective measures against domestic and international terrorism. Thanking you Yours truly

Terrorists kill innocent children, women and men in Omagh in N Ireland 28 people were killed and hundreds injured by a terrorist bomb blast in Omagh in N Ireland on Sunday. In Omagh people filed past a makeshift memorial at the bomb site leaving cards and flowers. '' People are hardly fit to talk. Look what they have done to our people" a 77 year old said. Local Councillor, Paddy Mc Gown said " I never saw anything like the injuries. There were bodies that couldn't be identified and some of them were small ,you would know they were children" Opposition Northern Ireland spokesperson told Sinn Fein leader, Gerry Adams "Probably you alone can ensure that these men are brought to justice very quickly.Take that opportunity and and follow your good words ...with equally strong action." Paul Radford whose 17 year old brother was blown apart by the bomb described the offenders as " THEY ARE THE SCUM OF THE EARTH.THAT' ALL ,JUST SCUM" All Sri Lankans and all our members share the grief of all family members of the dead and people of Omagh at this dark hour. We, Sri Lankans too have been subjected to terrorism unleashed by Tamil Tigers in Sri Lanka. They kill innocent civilians, explode bombs at city centres and destroy sacred sites indiscriminately. Ironically, they have their international operations centre in LONDON. They direct operations. collect funds and issues statements justifying terrorist acts of Tamil Tigers from this very centre in LONDON. WHAT TIMES! WHAT MORALS!
